  • Documentation & Regulatory Compliance- Prepare and manage technical documents, test reports, DVPs, DFMEA, ECN/ECF, part code, and BOM data as required for certification submissions. Coordinate with certification bodies (ARAI, ICAT, BIS) and external accredited labs for submission and approval.
  • Supplier & Cross-Functional Coordination- Facilitate battery homologation/testing activities with suppliers; review and release test reports; ensure purchased components/completed packs meet regulatory compliance.
  • Software Support- Assist with BMS software flashing, debugging, and compliance with diagnostics/testing communication (CAN protocol, HV/LV safety relays).
  • Test Procedure & Data Analysis- Develop and frame standard operating procedures for the entire range of EV battery homologation tests; analyze test results and summarize data for regulatory submissions and certification.
  • Manufacturing Transfer & Customer Interaction-Finalize technical reports for transition from R&D to Manufacturing; interact with customers and other internal functions to ensure compliance and positive test/certification outcomes.

Technical Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of Indian standards: AIS 038 Rev 2, AIS 156, IS 16893, BIS, IS 16046, NABL, CMVR, etc.
